We live in a lovely part of BC’s Okanagan Valley. Summerland had the good fortune to be bypassed by the main highway through the Okanagan, and the result is a beautiful gem envied by many of the other towns and cities. When you are in the Okanagan a great place to relax in the sun is out on Okanagan Lake. If you already own a boat why bother dragging it out when SBR has a selection from party boats to ski boats to seadoos!

We are one of 11 wineries located in Summerland, on a wine route known as Bottleneck Drive! An easy trip around the tasting rooms yields good conversation—usually with the owner, beautiful orchard/vineyard/lake views, and delightful Okanagan wines, uniquely affected by the volcanic soils of the Summerland area. A must do! |

Twice a day, all summer long, our peaceful valley is interrupted by the thunder of a 100 ton steam locomotive pulling a line of cars full of tourists along a 10 kilometer section of the historic Kettle Valley Railroad that exists through the effort of dedicated volunteers. Every time it goes by you have to look—it is spectacular! |
